Charit Tingsabadh

B.A., Economics Cambridge University, M. Social Sciences in Birmingham University-UK and PhD Development Planning, UCL London University-UK.
Former Director of the Centre for Ecological Economics, he is interested in economics of the environment and in Social and Environmental Research including climate change, forestry development, and urban environmental management. As Director of CES, besides European studies and theoretical aspects of regional integration and how they may apply in other contexts eg the ASEAN region, he is now developing co-operations with Centres for EU Studies in Thailand and abroad through joint activities such as exchanges of information, research and scholarly exchanges.

Nantana Gajaseni

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nantana Gajaseni (Ph.D.) has been appointed as the Executive Director of the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat since May 2009. With knowledge, leadership and experiences gained throughout her previous posts as Deputy Executive Director of AUN Secretariat and the Co-Director of the ASEAN-EU University Network Programme (AUNP),  she has become a proficient practitioner in the field of higher education cooperation. Dr. Gajaseni’s academic role as Associate Professor at Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University allows her to utilise her expertise in freshwater ecology and environmental economics. Through these roles, she has been actively involved in the environmental development and natural resource management as well as in promoting intraregional and interregional academic collaborations which have been recognised for the concrete contributions to human capacity building and overall development especially in ASEAN region.

His professional focus is Research management and innovation policy. Member for 10 years of the managing team of an Italian leading research centre, working on ICT, material science, microtechnology and former Commissioner in charge of research and innovation in the government of Trentino, one of the two Italian autonomous provinces, He promoted several initiatives in the area of renewable energies and sustainable building (as the Italian Green Building Council and the “Habitech” cluster of green companies) beside being Member of the founding Committee of the Trento "Festival of Economics", the major Italian event on economic topics; Chair of ITPAR, Indian-Trento Programme for Advanced Research  and Chair of the Advisory Board of OECD LEED, Trento Centre.

Since 1995 he started working with a genuine prehistoric population, the Phi Tong Luang, hunter-gatherers living in Thailand near the Laos border, and has been operating with indigenous populations in South east Asea for almost 20 years. Founding member of the NGO "Psychologists Without Borders» together with colleagues from the School, funded by the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation for Development (AECID) and the University of Oviedo. Visiting  Professor at the Royal University of Phnom Penh since 1999 and coordinator  of the bilateral agreement between RUPP and  Oviedo University;  he counts collaborations  with  the universities of Chiang Mai and
                      Srinakarinwirot (Thailand); Yogyakarta and Bandung (Indonesia), National University Laos and the Ho Chi Minh University (Vietnam) and is now operating in Philippines..

Marzenna Anna Weresa
Director, World Economy Research Institute - Warsaw School of Economics, Poland
Head of Postgraduate Study Program in Foreign Trade
PhD and a DSc in Economics, works as a professor at the World Economy Research Institute, Warsaw School of Economics being the Institute's director and the director of the Postgraduate Study Programme in Foreign Trade. Her research and academic teaching focus on international economics, in particular, on issues related to technology transfer and innovation seen in the context of economic transition in Central Europe as well as to the effects of foreign direct investment and foreign trade on innovation performance and economic development, including spillovers from FDI. She authored and co-authored numerous books and articles related to innovation, technology transfer, trade and foreign direct investment.

Neti Waranuch

Lecturer in Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Naresuan University obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from The University of Michigan and Postdoctoral Training from College of Pharmacy, The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. He is also Director of Naresuan University Business Incubator and Head of Cosmetics and Natural Products Research Center, Naresuan University. He is a consultant of the Institute of Beauty and Health Sciences Co., Ltd., Samutprakarn, Thailand. His research interest is in the area of topical drug delivery and cosmetic formulations.

Ngo Chi Trung

Ph.D. in Apparel Engineering and Assoc. Prof. at the Faculty of Textile, Garment Technology and Fashion Design is promoter of a number research projects and member in a number of advisory committees in textile area in Vietnam. Coordinator and member of several international projects in training and research; university networks, he counts lots of publications in international and domestic journals, international and domestic scientific conferences.

He has a D.E.S in Applied Computer Science to Education and spent over 3 years of research in Auto-Learning and Auto-Evaluation, the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in Belgium. As Counterpart of the Center of the International Cooperation for Computerization (CICC), DES is the Chief of IT Committee of EIC and teaching a computer graphics, UID and Applied Internet Programming (AIP) to Master and Bachelor at Royal University of Phnom Penh.

Pichet Durongkaveroj

Dr. Durongkaveroj has long history of work in the field of public policy.  He played key role  in the design of  many national and international policies including ICT, e-commerce, higher education, science and technology, and most recently innovation.  His current work in the area of science, technology and innovation (STI) includes the drafting of Thailand’s national STI policy, research investment policy, climate change mitigation and adaptation, inclusive innovation and the internalization of STI.
Alumni of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania  with a PhD in Public Policy and Management, Dr. Durongkaveroj was the first director of the National Information Technology Committee Secretariat, the Knowledge Network Institute of Thailand, and the e-Commerce Resource Center.   In the past he covered the position of Lecturer, Physics Department, Faculty of Science, Ramkhamhaeng University; Researcher, Science and Technology Development Program, Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI); Director, Electronic Commerce Resource Center and National Information Technology Committee (NITC);  and Secretariat, National Electronic and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) , he chaired the e-ASEAN Working Group for two years.

His expertise includes Design Thinking and Strategy, Industrial and Product Design, Design Management, Service Design, User-centered Design, Innovation Management, Concept Development, Product Development. 
Besides he is Member of Patenting committees, Dept. of Intellectual Property; Member of Rating Committee for Film and Video, Ministry of Culture; Academic Advisor of Industrial Design Dept. King Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabang; Advisory Board on Innovation, True Corporation PCL and member of the Intangible Cultural Heritage on Traditional Craftsmanship, Ministry of Culture. As Academic Advisor to the National Innovation Agency (NIA), he contributed to the National Innovation Award and True Innovation Award.
